One Big Thing: Remembering Fernhill Zoro
The biggest cruelty we as riders face is a heart horse taken before their time, so our thoughts and love are with Cassie Sanger today as she announced the loss of her beloved Fernhill Zoro this past weekend from a devastating pasture accident. Her partner since she was 16 years old, Zoro brought Cassie up to the heights of U25 Championships and Nations Cup podium finishes, through the Team USA U25 Emerging Athlete Program and European Development Tour, and several other worldwide accolades as one of the USA’s most elite young event riders — but at the end of the day, Cassie and Zoro had a truly beautiful partnership that we were grateful to have witnessed.
Of her partner after their first European Development Tour, Cassie said, “I’ve had many firsts riding Zoro, especially this year with our first Nations Cup, and I’m so thankful that I did it with him because he has become like a best friend to me.” Her mother, a strong supporter of Cassie’s career, also sang her deep appreciation for the horse that brought Cassie to great heights, saying, “They have had special chemistry from the start and I know enough to feel immense love for their partnership.”
Sending all our love to Cassie and her family and team.

The last thing any of us want is to be that person who bought hundreds of dollars of supplements only to have them ruined from a few too many hours baking in the sun.
Whether in your car or on your porch post-delivery, Kentucky Performance Products has some tips for us all on how to keep our supplements safe and viable:
