Vienna, Austria – September 27, 2026 – At the magnificent Schloss Schönbrunn Palace, Sanne Thijssen and OS Le Petit Cheval delivered a decisive performance to win the €28,200 Schloss Schönbrunn Prize CSI 5* on Sunday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Vienna CSI 5* & CSI 2*. Riding the 12-year-old Anglo European Sport Horse mare (Peppermill x Magic d’Elle), Thijssen produced a faultless round in 60.45 seconds to take the honours in the 1.45m speed competition.

Thijssen’s winning time proved more than a second faster than the two combinations sharing second place. Jur Vrieling (NED), partnered with Grand Slam VDL, and France’s Kevin Staut (FRA) with Ever de Turan both kept every pole in place and crossed the finish line in an identical 61.56 seconds.
