Vienna, Austria – September 27, 2026 – Ciaran Nallon (IRL) and Little Special in Red M claimed victory in the €28,200 Haare Statt Glatze Prize CSI 5* at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Vienna CSI 5* & CSI 2*, producing the fastest clear performance of the competition at Schönbrunn Palace. Riding the eight-year-old chestnut Holsteiner mare, Nallon completed both phases without a single penalty in a winning time of 26.18 seconds.

Thirty-three combinations lined up for the two-phase challenge, with the demanding course leaving little room for error. Only 13 partnerships managed to keep a clean score throughout the entire competition, setting up a closely fought battle for the top places in the decisive second phase.

Ciaran Nallon (IRL) & Little Special in Red M

Nallon and Little Special in Red M, by I’m Special de Muze out of a Calido I line, ultimately proved untouchable on the clock. The young mare’s combination of careful jumping and speed allowed the Irish rider to finish more than a second clear of the runner-up, highlighting the pair’s impressive efficiency and composure in the arena.

Giacomo Casadei (ITA) & Rodania Ter Leydonck

Italy’s Giacomo Casadei (ITA) completed the podium aboard Rodania Ter Leydonck in 27.79 seconds. With just three combinations separated by less than two seconds, the Haare Statt Glatze Prize delivered a competitive finish against the spectacular backdrop of Schönbrunn Palace.
