The USA now owns two of the top three spots on the FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings after the October points update. Now joining Boyd Martin in the top three is Will Coleman, who’s seventh-place finish at Burghley contributed to his jump from seventh last month to third in the world. New Zealand’s Tim Price retains the World #1 title and stands to head into the off-season as the titleholder with a strong performance at Pau later this month.

Points for these rankings are calculated on a rolling 12 month period. An athlete’s best six results count, so you could be cycling in fresh points with good results (the higher the level and, of course, the higher the placing, the more points you earn) as last year’s points roll off. You can read more on how the world ranking points are tabulated here.

There are a total of three U.S. riders in the top 10, with Caroline Pamukcu rising from 12th into sixth with her podium finish at Burghley last month.
