Shanghai, China – May 01, 2026 – Serving as the appetizer to super Sunday, the €28,200 Two-Phase Special CSI 5* got competition underway at the Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre on Saturday. Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Oilily de Muze made things look easy on their way to winning the 1.45m class, besting 24 other combinations.

Riding the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood mare (Vigo d’Arsouilles STX x Ramiro Z), Vereecke was victorious after having no penalties and completing the second section of the course in 32.69 seconds.

Only two-hundredths of a second separated second and third place. Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Diarouge Blue PS completed the top three in 33.73 seconds.
