Jack Ryan’s Cool Under Pressure to Win Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3* at Vejer de La Frontera

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – January 23, 2026 – The second day of this CSI 3* at the 2026 Andalucía Pre-Sunshine Tour came to an end with new highlights. Jack Ryan (IRL) claimed victory in the main class of the day, the €28,600 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*.

Ryan and Keatingstown Mister Cool, a 10-year-old gelding (Messenger x Chacco Blue), dominated the main class of the day, set at 1.45m, over a technical and fast track, registering no penalties in 25.27 seconds.

Second place went to Jens Baackmann (GER) with Cinderella, while third place was claimed by Rogier Linssen (NED) and Commander Lux. All three riders completed both phases without penalties and time was the criteria to confirm their places on the podium.

Castora Ortiz (ESP) was the best Spanish rider in the class, finishing sixth with Robinson.

2) Jens Baackmann (GER) & Cinderella – 0 / 0 – 25.88

3) Rogier Linssen (NED) & Commander Lux – 0 / 0 – 25.98
