We are kicking off another week of CCI5* action, this time outside of London at the 2026 MARS Badminton Horse Trials! As is tradition, you can use this Ultimate Guide as your one-stop shop to following along with all of the happenings on site.
This week, EN’s coverage will be helmed by Tilly Berendt, with Sophie Robbins on photos and Incanto Sports Group providing us with video (stay tuned for a highlight reel on Sunday!). Sally Spickard, Cheg Darlington and Allie Heninger will be supporting from home. Thank YOU for reading and supporting our work!

For time zone conversions, we’ll be using British Summer Time and Eastern Standard Time as our references; if you want further help converting, we recommend the free site WorldTimeBuddy more than our own math skills.

How to Watch and Follow
Badminton makes it quite simple to follow along all week, and you have a couple options. The easiest way, if you don’t already have a full ClipMyHorse.TV account already, is to purchase a Badminton TV pass for about $29USD. This pass gives you access to the stream, which is run on the ClipMyHorse platform, for the weekend, as well as on-demand action from previous years while the pass is active. Alternatively if you do have a full ClipMyHorse membership, you can log right in and access the stream/on-demand viewing.
For more information on the live stream, click here. To access it directly on ClipMyHorse, click here.
Another fabulous feature of MARS Badminton is Radio Badminton, which provides some truly spectacular broadcast coverage of the full weekend. You can listen here.
Lastly, you can also download the official Badminton app (more info here) which will have the fully updated schedule/timetable and more at your fingertips.

The Players
After one late withdrawal this morning (Gemma Stevens and Chilli King), we will see 71 pairs start competition after today’s First Horse Inspection. 11 different nations are represented, and we’re well-represented with several members of the FEI Eventing top 15 world-ranked riders.
If you want the full deep dive on the field, your first stop should be our Form Guide full of all the information you need on the field, plus access to our full database of horse and rider profiles. You can view that here.
