The Washington International Horse Show is excited to announce that applications open on March 31 for the 2025 Junior Committee and Youth Ambassador program. WIHS is proud to continue its partnership with Signature Academics, the sponsor of the Junior Committee, which supports equestrian student-athletes in their academic and athletic endeavors.
The WIHS Junior Committee and Youth Ambassador Program, established in 2009, provides local students with an opportunity to engage in event planning, marketing, media activities, while gaining hands-on experience in the equestrian event industry.
This year, 30 applicants will be accepted into the program, with three named Youth Ambassadors. Youth Ambassadors will lead one of three subcommittees and work closely with WIHS staff to help run the show. The 67th Annual WIHS will take place October 20-26, 2025, at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Applications for the program open on March 31, and close on April 25. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by June 2. The selected members will serve from June 9 to November 1.
