The US Equestrian Federation will host a virtual listening session for members on June 8 at 5:30PM EST titled “All About Amateurs” — in which the USEF team hopes to help members better understand the rules around amateur riders, the factors in competition costs, grassroots programs, and more. This will be the last session for the listening sessions’ spring schedule, which have touched on topics thus far covering welfare, controlled substance guidelines, safety, and other rule changes in progress.
As with previous sessions, a panel of USEF staff leading the town hall will be joined by trainers or amateur riders where available to ensure their questions and topics of interest are part of the body of the presentation. The Federation encourages members to attend so they can receive feedback on meaningful differences for you, no matter the breed or discipline.

Training Tip of the Day
One of the hardest parts of riding is knowing what to focus on when something isn’t going well in your horse training. If you’ve been struggling to make progress with your horse, listen in here:
Go Eventing
The Owners’ Shuffle — much like the Grooms’ Cluck or the Trainers’ Air Kick — is always a treat to watch in the XC tent, so when your horse is on track to a historic Badminton win, it’s probably a bit more tense than most!
