The equestrian sport takes another viral blow. It is once again a shame that the equestrian sport is being downplayed and poked at by the media and viewers. Throughout social media sources such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram equestrians and those in the industry are expressing their feelings towards those who believe that equestrian sports are not legitimate sports.
Just hours ago, a band of renegades who call themselves SUPER DELUXE has released another one of their infamous satirical videos; this time slamming dressage as an Olympic sport.
SUPER DELUXE is a viral media outlet that creates viral “awkward and strangely edited” videos from publicly released footage of events and interviews. Their Facebook following alone has over 1.5 million followers.
Is this a marketing problem? Does the equestrian sport not see the value in creating the “hype” that the sport needs/deserves in order to grow?
