Calgary, Canada – September 05, 2025 – It was an evening to remember Friday of the 2025 Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament CSIO 5* & CSI 2*. Under the lights, 12 horse/rider combinations entered the fan favourite ATCO Electric Six Bar Challenge CSIO 5*. Six fences, progressing in height after each round – it’s a true testament of skill and bravery.

History was made tonight, the record height set in 2004 by Jessica Kurten (IRL) was broken by not one, but two stars. Vaclav Stanek (CZE) with Quintin and Joseph Stockdale (GBR) on It’s Confidential cleared the final fence set at 2.13 meters. Joseph Stockdale’s father Tim Stockdale, won the same event in 2011.
Daniel Deusser (GER) withrew Pepita van’T Meulenhof BR from jumping the fifth round, thus earning bronze honors as the only ones to have cleared the obstacles in fourth round.
