Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – November 01, 2024 – Tom Wachman (IRL) is just 20 years old and has had a great season this year, being part of the CH-EU-Y-S winning Irish team back in July. On Friday, he had a commanding win with the same chestnut mare, Cathalina S, in the €28,700 Celestre Trophy CSI 3*, a 1.45m Longines Ranking class; this pair had also won the 2* Ranking class here on the 25th of October.
Cathalina S is a very fast mare as she proved again today by stopping the clock in 63.63 seconds, way ahead of the runners up in the class, El Ghali Boukaa (MAR) who rode A Kyss across the finish line in flawless fashion in 66.35 seconds.
Third was the British rider James Davenport (GBR), with Happiness DK Z in this very competitive class which was kindly sponsored by the Celeste wines from the Torres bodega. The Celeste wine range goes from fruity, full-bodied reds to a modern fresh aromatic white and a fruity and lively rose.
Final Results – €28,700 Celestre Trophy CSI 3* – 1.45m

2) El Ghali Boukaa (MAR) & A Kyss – 0 – 66.35
