Doha, Qatar – January 04, 2026 – Third podium in as many days and second victory! Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Vasco 118 went out in grand fashion to close out the week at H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix CSI 4* & CSI 2*, topping the €29,000 Special Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* during the first week of the Doha Equestrian Tour (DET) at Al Shaqab in the Qatari capital. Once again, it came down to a duel between two Italians and the result was the same as in the €29,000 Speed Challenge CSI 4* the previous day.

The special two-phase class was contested by 25 combinations but it was the Italian and 2014 dark bay Mecklenburg stallion (Vivant x Chacco-Blue) who delivered the winning performance, clearing all the 1.45m obstacles on both sections of the course, completing the final part in 31.12 seconds.

Once again, Roberto Previtali (ITA) and Chaquano PS put on a valiant effort to overcome their compatriots, finishing second in 32.27 seconds.

A familiar face on the podium of CSI 2* classes, Millie Allen (GBR) lived up to expectations in the CSI 4* challenge too, this time by riding Quickly D Ljzerenlindehof towards bronze honors in 32.68 seconds.
