The Stage is Set: Longines Global Champions Tour Returns to Paris under the Eiffel Tower

The Longines Global Champions Tour gallops into the heart of the French capital from 20-22 June 2025 for the eighth leg of the Championship – and the atmosphere is set to be electric at the sold out event. As the season almost hits its halfway point, the stakes in Paris at the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping have never been higher. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, this iconic stop blends world-class sport with quintessential Parisian flair.

A stellar line-up of the world’s best riders and horses has been confirmed for this landmark event. Championship leader Gilles Thomas and current No. 2 in the standings home hero Simon Delestre will both be in action, adding extra heat to an already fiery mid-season clash. With precious points on offer, the battle between these two titans could shape the destiny of the 2025 title.

2023 and 2019 LGCT Grand Prix of Paris winner Christian Ahlmann returns to the City of Light aiming for a historic third victory, while Ioli Mytilineou and Abdel Said both already LGCT Grand Prix winners this season – look to climb even closer to the top of the leaderboard. Last year’s LGCT Grand Prix of Paris winner Jeanne Sadran also resturns aiming to do back to back victories but there will be tough competition with the likes of LGCT reigning champion Max Kuhner, Andreas Schou and Denis Lynch.

The star-studded rider roster features former LGCT Super Grand Prix winners Victor Bettendorf, Henrik von Eckermann and Julien Epaillard alongside international icons including Jérôme Guéry, Katrin Eckermann, Sanne Thijssen, Marlon Zanotelli, Marcus Ehning, Marco Kutscher, Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos, Olivier and Nicola Philippaerts and Jessica Springsteen all hungry for glory in one of the most glamorous arenas in sport.
