Doha, Qatar – January 09, 2026 – Super Max! Max Kuhner (AUT) stole the spotlight on Friday at the Doha Equestrian Tour (DET) in the Qatari capital. The second day of H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix CSI 5* & CSI 3* featured four major competitions but it was the Austrian and the 13-year-old grey Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding who came out on top in the €106,000 Jump-off Challenge CSI 5*.

The duo showed scope and speed in the jump-off against 9 other combinations, clearing all the 1.55m obstacles for the second time before registering the winning time of 42.42 seconds.

Janne Friederike-Meyer Zimmermann (GER) and Cellagon Cascais were just nipped at the wire, finishing only eleven-hundredths of a second behind the winners.

Neal Fearon (IRL) and Derryglen Obsidian dashed for the cash in the tiebreaker, completing their second penalty-free performance in 42.56 seconds during the tiebreaker.
