Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – March 07, 2025 – Enrique González (MEX) was victorious in Friday’s Longines Ranking class; the €29,000 Ashford Farm Trophy CSI 4*, with his own 11-year-old gelding Origi van de Zeshoek (Marius Claudius x Eldorado vd Zeshoek). They had a decisive win in the 1.50 speed class which was held in the main grass arena, David Broome. The pair stopped the timers in 64.17 seconds after a penalty-free round.
The winners took the lead from the British rider, Graham Gillespie (GBR) with the very experienced 17-year-old gelding Veneno (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet. The duo dashed through the course too before crossing the finish line in 64.59 seconds.
Just under a second behind Graham was the French rider, Emeric George (FRA), with the 12-year-old mare, Dune du Ru (Vagabond de la Pomme x Apache D’Adriers), completing their performance in 65.40 seconds.
