Riding “La Vida Loca”! Kevin Staut Storms to the Top in the €107,800 Région de Normandie Grand Prix CSI 4*

Canteleu, France – May 05, 2024 – Showjumping reached new heights at the 2024 Al Shira’aa Le Lame International – Sagrantino Showjumping CSI 4* as the €107,800 Grand Prix Région de Normandie CSI 4* took place on super Sunday. To the delight of the crowd, a familiar face climbed onto the top of the podium as the host nation’s very own Kevin Staut (FRA) teamed up with Vida Loca Z for victory in the main class.

Aformer world number one in his own right, the Frenchman and the 2016 Zangersheide mare (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Cornet Obolensky) nipped Andres Vereecke (BEL) and Noyelle vd Begijnakker (Kannan x Palestro vd Begijnakker). The two combinations registered a clean scorecard with the Frenchman having the upper hand over the Belgian in regards to jump-off time, registering 44.50 compared to 44.83 seconds.

Kyle Timm (CAN) and Candar Mail (Lando x Fergar Mail) completed the top three with no penalties too, securing bronze honors in 44.66 seconds.
