Rotterdam, The Netherlands – June 20, 2024 – It’s showtime for showjumping at the CHIO Rotterdam! The countdown for the Olympics is winding down and the event provides one of the last chances for riders to make a good impression on Chefs d’Equipe. The Longines League of Nations™ of Rotterdam CSIO 5* on Friday is the perfect occasion to prove themselves before a grand stage, hoping of being selected to represent their countries in Paris.
The host nation will be led by their very best riders, including the likes of Harrie Smolders (NED), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Jur Vrieling (NED), Marc Houtzager (NED), Leopold van Asten (NED), Willem Greve (NED), (NED), Sanne Thijssen (NED), Kim Emmen (NED), amongst others.
They face fierce competition as Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States have entered their stellar riders and squads to compete in the team competition there.
