Riesenbeck, Germany – September 10, 2025 – It’s showtime for showjumping at the 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour of Riesenbeck CSI 5*, CSI 3* & CSI 2* this week at Riesenbeck International, the “home” of one of the legends of the sport, Ludger Beerbaum (GER). One of the powerhouses of the noble sport, Germany will field its several of its best riders, highlighted by the likes of: Christian Ahlmann (GER), Christian Kukuk (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER), Katrin Eckermann (GER), Richard Vogel (GER), Janne Friederike Meyer Zimmermann (GER), Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER), David Will (GER), Jana Wargers (GER), just to name a few.
Despite their level of expertise and having great horses, the Germans face fierce competition as they will be challenge by: Peder Fredricson (SWE), Simon Delestre (FRA), Harrie Smolders (NED), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Kevin Staut (FRA), Denis Lynch (IRL), Max Kuhner (AUT), Cian O’Connor (IRL), Yuri Mansur (BRA), Jur Vrieling (NED), amongst others.
