Calgary, Canada – September 07, 2025 – The $88,250 Suncor Cup CSIO 5* featured first on the final day of the 2025 Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ CSIO 5* & CSI 2*. This year the Suncor Cup was a speed competition, where faults are converted to time. The horses and riders were lightning fast this year, but none faster that Richard Vogel (GER) aboard Phenyo van het Keysersbos.
Despite having a rail at fence 7 (and having four seconds added to his time), Vogel finished on a time of 78.16 seconds. Tom Wachman (IRL) and Do It Easy and finished in second with a time 81.48 seconds while Thibault Philippaerts (BEL) and Quilano rounded out the top three in 82 seconds flat.

1) Richard Vogel (GER) & Phenyo van Het Keysersbos – 4 + 74.16 = 78.16
2) Tom Wachman (IRL) & Do It Easy – 0 – 81.48
3) Thibault Philippaerts (BEL) & Quilano – 0 – 82.00
