Entries have been posted for this Sunday’s $50,000 Arena Eventing class, sponsored by B&D Builders and Goshen Hill at the historic Devon Horse Show in Pennsylvania. The division will kick off at 7 pm EST with two rounds over a hybrid course designed by Capt. Mark Phillips set throughout the Dixon and Wheeler rings that make up some of the primary infrastructure at Devon.
This year we have an exciting list featuring two-time champions Boyd Martin and Miss Lulu Herself as well as Colombian CSI5* show jumper Ilan Bluman, who has entered with two horses (Acajou and Echo LVF). Horses and riders were able to qualify for this event via show jumping pathways (full qualification criteria for Arena Eventing competitions, as outlined by USEF, can be found here), which means we’ll also see Sara Kozumplik bring out her veteran partner Rubens d’Ysieux for a spin after mostly retiring the 21-year-old Selle Francais gelding from eventing and instead competing in pure show jumping and showcases like this.
Here is a look at the full entry list, which is of course subject to change ahead of show start:
