Doha, Qatar – January 04, 2026 – The first week of the Doha Equestrian Tour concluded on Sunday at Al Shaqab and a familiar nation was back on top of the podium. To conclude the CSI 2* classes of H.H The Father Amir’s Prix CSI 4* & CSI 2*, the €32,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 2* was held at the stunning Longines Arena. In the end, it was a duel of British riders for the win with Oliver Fletcher (GBR) and Cajus 42 coming out on top.

Fletcher flew to first aboard the 2014 bay Westphalian gelding (Comme Il Faut 5 x Quidam’s Rubin) overcoming thirteen other combinations backed by a penalty-free jump-off performance in 33.59 seconds.

After winning the €29,000 Speed Challenge CSI 2* the previous day, this time Millie Allen (GBR) and Quick Diamant HR had to settle for second place, earning reserve honors in 34.02 seconds.

Another familiar face on the podium of the CSI 2* classes, Philipp Weishaupt (GER) and Callao L conquered bronze honors in 34.74 seconds.
Running from 2–4 January, Tour 1 offered a total prize fund of €538,000. Across the full four-tour H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix series, prize money totals €3,303,000, bringing international and regional riders together at one of Qatar’s leading equestrian venues.
