Nadja Peter Steiner & Nice van’T Zorgvliet Turn on the Nitro to Win Speed Challenge Al Shaqab

Doha, Qatar – January 08, 2026 – The second week of the 2026 H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix opened on Thursday at Al Shaqab with CSI 5* action headlining day 1. Making the trip from Switzerland to Doha was the right decision despite missing a five-star event in her country and Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) made the trip more than worthwhile. Teaming up Nice van’T Zorgvliet, she was victorious in the €57,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5* at the Longines Arena.

Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) & Esteban de Hus

Perhaps the most consistent rider so far at the 2026 Doha Equestrian Tour, Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) came close to earning his third major victory of the season there. However, this time, the fast Italian had to settle for second place aboard Esteban de Hus, just twenty-four hundredths of a second behind.

Abdulrahman Al Rajhi (KSA) & Ventago

One of the winningest and most popular riders in the Middle East, Abdulrahman Al Rajhi (KSA) lived up to expecations with Ventago, completing the top three in 60.35 seconds.
