The best examples come from the top. This weekend at the Florida Horse Park, several pro riders including Joe Meyer, Buck Davidson and Zach Brandt lended their time to volunteer out on cross country as jump judges. Volunteers can be hard to come by in our sport, and it’s always nice to see the busiest riders take time out of their days. Of course, it’s a balancing act when you’re competing or coaching, but do know that your event organizer appreciates every minute of time you’re willing to give!
