Nearly 200 horses and riders are prepped and ready to commence competition at the 20th anniversary of the Maryland International CCI & Horse Trials taking place at Loch Moy Farm June 26-28, 2026.

While Maryland International is the proud host of National divisions from Training through Intermediate, FEI divisions from CCI1*-S through a US Equestrian Open qualifier CCI4*-S, the facility is also the host of the USEF Eventing Young Riders Championship (YRC) and will welcome eleven teams and several individual riders who have qualified to represent their areas in this Championship. The USEF Eventing Young Riders Championship will be run across the CCI1*-S, CCI2*-S and CCI3*-S divisions. Nearly all USEA regions as well as Canada are included, with riders representing areas as far away as west of the Mississippi (Areas 6 and 9) slated to compete this weekend.

Also adding to the excitement for this weekend is the bolstering of the prize fund, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor via the Maryland International Eventing Foundation (MIEF), which boosted the total prize money pool to $100,000. 50% of this purse will be distributed among the top finishers in the US Equestrian Open qualifier Triple Crown Feed CCI4*-S, which features 19 top-level competitors, including seven-time Olympic athlete Phillip Dutton, 2024 Olympian and MARS Bromont CCI4*-L winner Caroline Pamukcu, Olympic medalist Kim Severson, New Zealand World Championships competitor Monica Spencer and many others. Other features on the entry list include 2025 Defender Kentucky CCI5* champion Will Coleman, entered in the CCI2*-S with some developing horses.

Competitors across levels will contest cross-country courses designed by Olympic athlete turned top-level course designer Andrew Heffernan (NED), who first began designing at this venue in 2025 and looks forward to the unveiling of his second iteration of courses this weekend. British show jumping course designer Chris Barnard will return to set this year’s jumping tracks.

Maryland International also hosts the sold-out Highland Club all weekend, featuring an expansive pavilion tent with the best view of all three phases of competition as well as food and beverages on offer each day. Spectators and competitors alike are also invited to pursue the expanded Vendor Row, featuring brands such as VTO Saddlery, Triple Crown Feed, Belltower Equestrian Imports and many more.

FEI competition begins at 8:00 am on Friday, June 26, with dressage and show jumping for all FEI divisions excluding the Young Rider Championships taking place on Friday.
