Set against the glamorous backdrop of Port Pierre Canto, where superyachts line the harbour and the Mediterranean sparkles beyond the arena, Cannes remains one of the most iconic destinations on the LGCT calendar. As the Championship battle heats up, the stars of show jumping are preparing to take centre stage under the floodlights in one of the sport’s most unique settings.
Fresh from his victory in the €500,000 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid CSI 5*, current Championship leader Simon Delestre (FRA) arrives on home soil full of confidence and looking to continue his remarkable run of form. The French favourite will be joined by a powerful home contingent including Julien Anquetin, Alexa Ferrer (FRA), Arthur Levot (FRA), Jean-Luc Mourier (FRA) and rising French talents Jeanne Sadran (FRA) and Antoine Ermann (FRA), ensuring plenty for the local crowd to cheer about.
The battle for Championship points promises to be fierce, with some of the biggest names in the sport all heading to Cannes.
