Wellington, United States – January 09, 2026 – It’s showtime for showjumping and Saturday Night Lights with the running of the first FEI-level grand prix of the 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Wellington International. Australia, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Turkey, Spain, United States each have at least one combination in pursuit of the first major victory of the circuit there.
Nayel Nassar (EGY) & ESI Ali will be the pathfinders to enter the International Ring in the first round. Coming off the win earlier this week in the qualifier, Nina Mallevaey (FRA) is one of the favorites.
