Dinard, France – July 29, 2026 – With four former winners of the Rolex Grand Prix of the City of Dinard, six of the world’s top ten riders, several European and Olympic medallists, and a number of horse-and-rider combinations selected for the FEI World Championships in Aachen this August, the 2026 Jumping International de Dinard, taking place from 30 July to 2 August, promises once again to be a spectacular edition.
The line-up for the 114th edition of the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5* & CSI 3* is set to be stronger than ever, once again confirming its status as one of the world’s premier show jumping events. Held just days before the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany (17–23 August), the Breton competition, the fifth leg of the Rolex Series circuit, will offer the world’s best riders a final opportunity to fine-tune their preparations under conditions similar to those they will encounter in Germany.
Competing on home soil, France will be represented by eleven riders, led by the last French winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of the City of Dinard, Kévin Staut (FRA)*, who claimed victory in 2024 aboard Beau de Laubry Z.
Joining him will be world No. 8 Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Olivier Perreau (FRA), both members of the French team that won bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, alongside François-Xavier Boudant (FRA), Marc Dilasser (FRA), Alexa Ferrer (FRA), Emeric George (FRA), Pénélope Leprevost (FRA), team gold medallist at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Mégane Moissonnier (FRA) and Julien Anquetin (FRA). Renowned for its enthusiastic support of every horse-and-rider combination, the Dinard crowd will undoubtedly give a particularly warm welcome to Nicolas Layec (FRA), the only Breton rider competing in the CSI 5*.
They will face a formidable international field, including three former winners of the Rolex Grand Prix: Switzerland’s world No. 17 Martin Fuchs* (SUI), the event’s only two-time winner after back-to-back victories in 2021 and 2022; Austria’s world No. 20 Max Kühner (AUT), who claimed the title in 2023; and Germany’s Christian Ahlmann (GER), winner in 2016. Ahlmann will be joined by fellow Germans, world No.2, Richard Vogel* (GER) and world No. 10 Christian Kukuk (GER) Olympic champion at Paris 2024, both selected for Germany’s squad for the FEI World Championships in Aachen. Great Britain will field its two highest-ranked riders, Scott Brash (GBR)* and Ben Maher (GBR). Ranked third and fourth in the world respectively, both are also set to compete in Aachen this August. Ireland will be represented by world No. 5 Shane Sweetnam (IRL) and Denis Lynch (IRL), Sweden by world No. 39 Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Olympic team champion at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, New Zealand by Luke Dee (NZL), Spain by Armando Trapote (ESP), the United States by world No. 33 Lillie Keenan (USA), and Brazil by Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) and Luciana Diniz (BRA).
A long-time supporter of the event, Lillie Keenan (USA) left a lasting impression in 2024 by winning the Mars & Co Prize aboard her trusted Vertigo du Désert. The pair will return to Dinard in 2026 before heading to the FEI World Championships in Aachen. Another firm favourite with the Breton crowd, Switzerland’s world No. 12 Steve Guerdat (SUI)* (), a multiple medallist at major championships, will also be among the starters.
Belgium will be represented by the world’s No. 1 Under-25 rider, Thibeau Spits (BEL), alongside world No. 28 Pieter Devos (BEL) and world No. 35 Gregory Wathelet (BEL). Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and world No. 16 Willem Greve (NED) will represent Luxembourg and the Netherlands respectively.
After France, Mexico will be the second most represented nation in the CSI 5*, with no fewer than seven riders entered, including its highest-ranked representative, world No. 46 Nicolas Pizarro (MEX). Federico Fernandez (MEX), Andres Azcarraga (MEX) and Paola Amilibia (MEX) will also be part of the Mexican delegation in Dinard.
A CSI 3* Worthy of the Biggest International Events
Many of the riders entered in the CSI 5* will also compete in the CSI 3*. For many, it will provide the opportunity to give their World Championship horses one final outing before Aachen. It will be a chance for those horse-and-rider combinations to fine-tune their preparations, for the others to test themselves against the world’s best riders, and for spectators to enjoy a level of competition rarely seen in a CSI 3*.
France will field no fewer than 29 riders, including Rio 2016 Olympic team gold medallists Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) and Philippe Rozier (FRA), as well as Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Alexis Deroubaix (FRA), winners of the Rolex Grand Prix of the City of Dinard in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
Brittany will also be well represented by Arnaud Bourdois (FRA), Bernard Briand-Chevalier (FRA), Arthur Le Vot (FRA) and Margaux Rocuet (FRA), winner of the Derby in 2019.
