Julien Anquetin & Fiona des Ibis Impress the Most in the Aloga Winning Round CSI 3*

Compiègne, France – April 10, 2026 – The Compiègne Classic CSI 3* is living up to all expectations. Since the beginning of the week, the Grand Parc Equestrian Stadium has been hosting the international show jumping elite in a highly competitive atmosphere — and Friday was no exception. Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Fiona des Ibis won the Aloga Prize at 1.45m, the third major event of the CSI 3*, after a very high-quality round with twelve competitors.

The rider from Normandy and his spirited eleven-year-old mare finished ahead of Swiss rider Sasha Barthe (SUI) and Jean-Charles Grandmontagne (FRA) from Lorraine, who came in second and third respectively on Kassandra del Buttasella and Silverstar.

The rule is relentless. And it certainly proved true in the Prix Aloga. In this 1.45m competition, the victory was to be decided in a Winning Round featuring the twelve best pairs from the initial round. Although twenty-seven of the ninety-eight pairs who started completed a clear round on Yann Royant’s course, only the twelve fastest were called back for the decisive phase.

Four pairs repeated their clear rounds. Last to go, thanks to their excellent time in the first round, Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Fiona des Ibis posted by far the fastest time. The rider from Normandy and his spirited eleven-year-old Selle Français mare by Quamikase des Forêts and out of a Quidam de Revel mare finished ahead of the Swiss rider Sasha Barthe (SUI), who was beaten by a second and a half on Kassandra del Buttasella. More than five seconds behind, Jean-Charles Grandmontagne (FRA) from Lorraine completed the top three with Silverstar. A little more cautious, Clément Fortin (FRA) finished fourth on the young stallion Hoptum de l’Abbaye.
