An exciting new competition challenge is in the works for Blenheim Palace International (September 17-20)! Building off the success of the GB Rising Lions program, which provides support and mentorship for developing riders within the British system and saw a team of riders compete in the Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S at Defender Kentucky earlier this year, the squad will now face off with U.S. riders in the CCI4*-L division at Blenheim.
The Blenheim Challenge will run as part of the main CCI4*-L class, however in each phase individual riders from the two teams will be drawn against each other, with the best score from each match up winning a point for their team. The competition will come with a £50,000 prize fund, with both the riders and their grooms to benefit from this.
