The USEA Foundation has announced the creation of the Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation Fund, a new grant program aimed at opening more doors in the sport of eventing.

This program will provide grants for riders who may face challenges accessing training and education because of financial limitations, social or economic circumstances, or barriers tied to race, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or other factors. Applications are due by October 15, with the first grants to be awarded during the USEA Annual Meeting & Convention in New Orleans this December.

“We are excited about the enthusiasm we have received in fundraising for this new grant program,” said Christine Hryzak of Full Moon Farm Eventing. “We expect these grants will have a great impact helping riders access the training they need to improve in the sport of eventing.”

The launch of this fund is the next big step for the Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation, which has quickly become a beacon for accessibility in eventing. Already, the Foundation has supported national awards and community programs designed to welcome riders from all backgrounds into the sport. Now, by working hand-in-hand with the USEA Foundation, the fund will provide a direct path for riders to access training and education that might otherwise feel out of reach. A five-member committee of USEA members will review applications and select recipients.
