Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – April 18, 2024 – It is with great sadness that we announce that the US animal Chromatic BF, ridden by Jill Humphrey, has passed away during the FEI World Cup Final.
After winning a contest on the evening of April 18th, Chromatic BF returned to the stables and unavoidably collapsed. The US equestrian animal staff and Li veterinarians instantly took care of him, but he was unable to resuscitate.
Specimens have already been taken from the animal in accordance with the FEI Veterinary Regulations, and a thorough postmortem in accordance with FEI protocols will be performed.
The FEI, the Organising Committee and the SAEF send their deepest condolences to the horse, owners, man and relationships.
