Action is underway for the inaugural FEI Eventing World Championships for U25 Riders, which this year are taking place at Millstreet in Co. Cork, Ireland. Five nations have fielded teams and a total of 14 nations are represented in this Championship, which will be run at the CCI4*-S level and we’ll see the dressage phase take place Thursday, July 22 and Friday, July 23 beginning at 2:00 pm local time / 9:00 am EST.

A note on EN’s coverage this week: As Tilly Berendt wrote in her trot-up report on Wednesday, it’s a difficult time for our community with two rider losses recorded in Great Britain this past weekend. With this in mind and out of respect, we won’t be sharing all of our coverage on social media this week. We, of course, wish to give these hardworking next generation riders their due, and we will, but we feel it is our duty and responsibility to provide space for grieving and reflection, even as the world continues to cruelly turn.

Anyone affected is encouraged to seek support through the British Eventing Support Trust Helpline, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on 07780 008877. You can also access support via Riders Minds, which offers live text support, a helpline, and a web chat. Look after one another, too – check in, reach out, and lean on the community.
