Ocala, Florida, USA – January 29, 2025 – Eduardo Menezes got off to the perfect start on Wednesday to kick off CSI 4* action at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) on Wednesday. The outstanding brazilian triumphed in the $32,000 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* aboard H5 Kontador.

Going up against 22 other combinations in the 1.45m contest, the Brazilian and H5 Sport Horses 15-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x For Pleasure) were supreme by being clean all the way to the wire, stopping the final timers in 24.73 seconds.

Richard Spooner (USA) and Lyjanair did try to give the eventual winners a run for their money but had to settle for second due to their time of 25.40 seconds.

Will Simpson (USA) and Keminko N were clear all the way to the end too, conquering bronze honors in 26.13 seconds.
