Lyon, France – November 01, 2025 – As a prelude to the Equita Masters presented by Hermès Sellier Saturday evening Fifty couples started the €30,300 Range Rover Grand Prix CSI 2* at 1.45m on Saturday afternoon. At the end of the first leg, just eight riders had managed clear rounds on the course designed by the French course designer Grégory Bodo. Dylan Ringot (FRA) was the first to complete a second clear round, crossing the line in 44″01 with Oakley ter Wijnen. No-one else managed to improve on the performance of the French Pro 1 champion.

Alexa Hinard Dufour (FRA) took third place with her excellent and promising 8-year-old Hugo d’Authou (0 pt, 47”62). This victory meant Dylan Ringot was crowned the best rider of the CSI 2* competition. He therefore left Lyon with a brand new truck, supplied by Stephex.

Dylan Ringot, winner of the Grand Prix Range Rover – CSI 2*: “The Grand Prix was very technical and tricky. My horse jumped pretty well at the start of the course but he really got going after the oxer number 5. I sensed that he wanted to do a clear round. In the jump-off, my aim was to go as fast as possible to try and win the event, but I didn’t have too many reference points, because I started in fourth place and no-on had managed a double clear round yet. So, I just went for it, without taking too many risks, and it paid off. Winning in Lyon is special, so I’m really happy. Everything is organised in such a way that we can just focus on performing to the best of our ability. I’ve had a great season and I’m lucky enough to have a fantastic group of horses at the moment. I’ve been riding Oakley for nearly two years now and he’s getting better all the time. I’m really counting on him for the future. I’m hoping to enter some big competitions next year and try to reach the top level; that’s still my main objective. I’m doing everything I can to achieve this goal.”
