Last to enter the arena, Portugal’s Duarte Seabra delivered the winning round aboard Cabernet Di Fer Z (Cicero Z van Paemel x Baloubet du Rouet).
Seabra crossed the finish line in 38.56 seconds, edging out the runner-up by just 0.35 seconds. Kara Chad (CAN) and Ciao Bello Nve Z (Comilfo Plus Z x Inshallah de Muze) finished second in 38.91 seconds, while Graham Babes (GBR) and Monks I Am Casall (I’m Special de Muze x Casall) secured third place with four faults in 39.33 seconds.
Fourth place went to Suus Kuyten (NED) and King Kong d’Avifauna (Think Big van T L x Kashmir van Schuttershof), who completed the jump-off with four faults in 42.78 seconds, while László Tóth (HUN) and Toll Central (Cornet Obolensky x Accarat) rounded out the top five with 12 faults in 39.78 seconds.
“I feel amazing, first of all because I won,” Seabra said afterwards . “I thought the course was really delicate, with only five clear rounds, but it was fantastically well-built. It was my first time winning the Grand Prix here in Oliva.”
“I’ve been here before and I love the place,” Seabra said about Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova. “Oliva is always one of my first choices when deciding which tours to attend. It’s very easy to manage when you have several horses, and my entire team enjoys coming here. It’s always one of my first options.”
Autumn MET 2026 will resume on Tuesday with the final week of MET I, before continuing with MET II on October 27.
