Dressage Rider Christine Wells dies after being kicked by a horse

At age 66, so the Reiterrevue announced, former Grand Prix dressage rider Christine Wells has died. The injuries she suffered in a riding accident were too severe. In 1992, Wells who competed successfully in international competitions, achieved a top 10 placement at the World Cup finales in Göteborg, she finished in ninth place. Recently, announcements concerning Wells were of a rather negative nature: in 2008, she was convicted of animal cruelty.
