What he said:
Max Kühner (AUT) winner of the €28,200 Cheval TV Prize CSI 5* with Kurt D Z:
“It’s been a really great day for us. Obviously for me, with this second victory, but also for my children, who just finished second in a Nations Cup event. So, it’s been a great day for all the family. I was riding my ‘little pony’ Kurt this evening. He’s very small. There’s a funny story behind this, because, one day, his breeder came to my stables and insisted that I ride the horse. I wasn’t particularly keen on the idea, but he really insisted because he felt we could get on well together. And he was right. I’m even happier about the win today because Kurt’s breeder is here. He follows the horse everywhere and comes to see him. He must be really proud today!”
Final Results – €28,200 Cheval TV Prize CSI 5*
1) Max Kuhner (AUT) & Kurt D Z – 0 – 69.12
2) Petronella Andersson (FRA) & Odina van Klapscheut – 0 – 70.70
3) Tom Wachman (IRL) & Obora’s Laura – 0 – 71.41
