Doha, Qatar – April 04, 2026 – Saturday’s programme at the 2026 Qatar Equestrian Federation Cup saw Qatari riders secure both feature wins. In the Longines Outdoor Arena, Bassem Mohammed (QAT) won the €29,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5* with Wathnan Zodiak, producing a clean round in 69.45 seconds.

A familiar face on the podium, Mohamad Mogheeth Al Shehab (SYR) delivered again, this time by completing the course flawlessly with Saphir Z in 69.69 seconds.

Nasouh Kayali (JOR) was right on the heels of the latter two, finishing just one-hundredth of second behind them with Kamacho P.S..

“It was a fast and short class, with around 17 riders, and it was not an easy one. Five-star classes are always more difficult than the others, but thankfully everything came together well for us today. A huge amount of work happens behind the scenes, we are the ones in the ring at the end, but this result belongs to the whole team.” – Bassem Mohammed (QAT)
As the final stop of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026, the event is being delivered in a controlled environment and without public attendance, with live coverage available across broadcast platforms and Doha Equestrian Tour social media channels.
