Compiègne, France – April 03, 2025 – The Compiègne Classic 2025 started under the best auspices with a first day marked by high-level sport, radiant weather and a significant crowd present. Organized by the Grand Prix Events teams, the event was notably punctuated by the €28,200 Vilamoura Classic CSI 3*, the first flagship event of the CSI 3*, rated at 1.45m and counting for the Longines world ranking.
In this event judged by the clock, Amanda Slagter (NED) made the Dutch anthem ring out on the big track. At the reins of Cornet Blue PS, she won with a time of 61”98, relegating Juliette Faligot (FRA) and Arqana de Riverland to second place, more than two seconds behind (64”04). The podium was completed by the Brazilian João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes de Lima (BRA) and Charon van Moeshof (64”29).

With this victory, Amanda Slagter adds one more line to her already long list of achievements, recording her fourteenth international victory with Cornet Blue, including ten in events counting towards the world ranking.
