Mâcon Chaintré, France – May 16, 2025 – A fantastic Friday fell upon the showgrounds of the the Château de Chaintré as fifty-four combinations flew in the €57,400 Mâconnaise des Eaux Prize CSI 4* sponsored by Véolia this afternoon. Twelve of them qualified for the jump-off but once again, Frenchman Benoît Cernin (FRA), already author of two victories this weekend, signed the fastest final, in 43.08 seconds, and thus took victory with Dynamite du Miral.
Only a few hundredths of a second behind, the Swiss Pius Schwizer (SUI), who returned in 43.33 seconds with Opalocka du Roton, took second place.
Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA) and Captain Ciwano completed the podium in this 1.50 meter event, qualifying for the Sunday Grand Prix. Spain also scored a nice double thanks to the fourth and fifth places of Sira Martinez Cullell (ESP) and Otti Verdu Vidal (ESP).

“We always want to win but I honestly thought that our time wouldn’t be enough to win today. Dynamite puts so much intensity into its jump-offs that I sometimes have trouble keeping it inside the curves and then I have the feeling of losing time. I’m really happy that it was finally enough! My horses are in very good shape at the moment and are winning a series of victories with great ease. I’m reallydelighted !”
