Kronenberg, The Netherlands – August 17, 2024 – João Victor Castro (BRA) and Charon Van Moeshof were back top top form last Saturday, claiming victory in the €28,200 Grand Prix CSI 2*, presented by Ashford Farm at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre.
Sixty-six combinations took part in the first round of the 1.45m challenge and sixteen of them advanced to the tiebreaker. In the end, it was the brazilian and the 12-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Diamant de Semilly x Fergar Mail) who came out on top by completing the course again in 38.46 seconds.

Alex David Gill (GBR) and VDL Kelton were the closest ones, matching the clean scorecard of the winning duo, finishing second due to their final time of 38.85 seconds.

Shady Ghrayeb (SYR) and Cabernet de Mars completed the podium, registering no penalties in the tiebreaker too, doing so just four-hundredths of a second behind the latter two.
