Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Alberta, Canada — June 14, 2024 — Egypt’s Nayel Nassar (EGY) took first place in the ATCO Cup CSI 5* 1.45m, his second win of the day at Spruce Meadows after having already won the Martime Travel Cup 1.40m.
Nassar, atop the Belgian Warmblood Linguini de La Pomme, beat 10 other jump-off riders emerging from a competition of 28 starting athletes.
In this event, Erynn Ballard (CAN) with Fave D’Authuit, finished just .27s behind Nassar’s 36.00 seconds.
John Perez Bohm (COL) rounded out the top three with with Aztlan on the 12 obstacle, 15 effort, course designed by renowned FEI course designer Olaf Petersen Jr, (GER) in the second contest of the day at the International Ring
